The Legendary Mallorca Loop
Two hundred and twenty kilometres. The whole island in one day.
Everything the Tramuntana has: Femenia, Sa Calobra, Puig Major, Sóller, and the long road home along the coast. Over three thousand metres of climbing and seven and a half hours of riding. Start at first light, carry food, and tell someone where you are going.
What to expect
More than 200 kilometres and over 3,000 metres of climbing: this loop links the Tramuntana with long stretches across the rest of the island. It is a full day in the saddle and the closest thing to riding a gran fondo on your own — the island's best-known sportive also takes riders over 300 kilometres around Mallorca.
Plan it like an event
Start at first light, plan every food and water stop in advance and know your bail-out options if the day goes wrong. Ride with someone if you can, carry lights for the end of the day and share your route with somebody before you go.
